Last week two state units of the IFWJ namely, Assam Union of Working Journalists (AUWJ) and Karnataka Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) organised their state conference in Guwahati and Mangalore respectively. In the KUWJ state-level meeting more than one thousand journalists working for the various media organisations in different districts of the state participated in a two-day conference on 7th and 8th March. It was inaugurated by the state Deputy Chief Minister C.N. Ashwath Narayan, in the hallowed presence of Dharmasthala’s Jain priest D. Birendra Hegde. Dharmasthala is a unique Jain Temple, which is situated in Dakshin Kannada Districts on the banks of the Netrawathy River. It is managed by Jains but poojas are performed by Hindu priests of Madhvacha

को रोना वायरस के नए मामले आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, केरल, दिल्ली और उत्तर प्रदेश के हैं. भारत में कोरोना वायरस से एक मौत भी हुई है। वहीं, दुनिया में अब तक 5000 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है। भारत में कोरोना वायरस के पॉजिटिव केस लगातार बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। देश में अब तक कोरोना वायरस के 89 मामले सामने आ चुके हैं, जिनमें से एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो चुकी है और चार लोगों को इलाज के बाद अस्पताल से छुट्टी दे दी गई है। नए मामले केरल, आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, केरल, दिल्ली और उत्तर प्रदेश के हैं। भारत के स्वास्थ्य सचिव के मुताबिक भारत में 89 मामले में से चार को अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिल गई है। सभी मरीज स्थिर हैं और रिस्क जोन में नहीं हैं. सात मरीजों का दूसरा टेस्ट निगेटिव है। उन्हें जल्द अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिल जाएगी। जिस शख्स की मौत हुई वह 76 साल के थे। वह निजी अस्पताल में इलाज के लिए गए थे। महाराष्ट्र और केरल में भी कोरोना वायरस के मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ गई है। जहां महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना वायरस के 17 पॉजिटिव केस हो गए हैं, वहीं केरल में मरीजों की संख्या 22 तक पहुंच गई है। -------------------------
