सपा छोड़कर भाजपा में शामिल हुए गुर्जर बिरादरी के उत्तर प्रदेश में सबसे बड़े नेता और अपने व्यवहार के लिए सभी दलों के नेतृत्व तक सीधे पहुंच रखने वाले सुरेंद्र नागर भाजपा में शामिल होते ही सक्रिय नजर आने लगे हैं। नागर विधान परिषद के सदस्य, लोकसभा और राज्यसभा के सांसद रहे हैं। हाल ही में सपा की राज्यसभा सदस्यता से त्याग पत्र देकर भाजपा में शामिल हुए हैं। उनको शामिल करने लिए भाजपा के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा की अहम भूमिका मानी जा रही है। पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश में भाजपा में प्रमुख गुर्जर नेता रहे बाबू हुकुमसिंह के निधन के बाद से भाजपा को एक बडे़, शालीन और सम्मानित गुर्जर चेहरे की तलाश थी, जो सुरेन्द्र नागर के रूप में पूरी होती नजर आ रही है। भाजपा में शामिल होने के बाद सुरेन्द्र नागर की सक्रियता भी काफी बढ़ गई है। गत दिवस उनकी प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी से भी मुलाकात हुई है। माना जा रहा है कि उनको जल्द ही बड़ी जिम्मेदारी सौंपी जा सकती है।

पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री और तिरूवनंतपुरम के सांसद शशि थरूर पर अपनी दूसरी पत्नी सुनंदा पुष्कर की मौत के मामले में शिकंजा कसता जा रहा है। दिल्ली पुलिस ने कहा है कि सुनंदा पुष्कर ने प्रताड़ना और विवाहेत्तर संबंधों के चलते खुदकुशी की थी। इसपर थरूर पर आरोप तय किए जाने की संभावना बढ़ती जा रही है।

The church is significant because Dr. King, who served as pastor between 1954-1960, led the historic Montgomery Bus Boycott against racial segregation from his basement office. His movement, he always said, was patterned on the Gandhian ideals of Satyagraha (seeking truth in the soul force) and Ahimsa (non-violent resistance to evil), The Kings had just completed a three-week tour and study of India, which was at its heart, a Gandhian pilgrimage in search of the truth, and in defense of the honor of the disinherited. वैश्विक स्तर पर यह वर्ष बा-बापू 150 वर्ष के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है । अमेरिका में भी इसकी गतिविधियों की सरगर्मी है । प्रसिद्ध गांधीवादी तथा अग्रणी शांति सैनिक डॉ एस. एन. सुब्बाराव जी की इस वर्ष नियमित 36वीं अमेरिका यात्रा थी परन्तु यहां इस वर्ष के महत्व को देखते हुए इसका अपना अलग आकर्षण रहा । वे पिछले एक माह से भी ज्यादा समय से यहां हैं । इस देश का ऐसा कोई छोर नहीं जहां  यह 91वर्षीय संत शांति सैनिक नहीं पहुंच रहा हो । अमेरिका में एक स्थान से दूसरे पर पहुंचने के लिए दो से आठ घण्टे तक असुविधाजनक थकावट भरी हवाई यात्रा करनी पड़ती है पर यह तो भाई जी ही हैं, जो इन्हें सहजता से प्रसन्नता पूर्वक करते हैं । वे जहाँ भी जाते हैं, वहीं अपनापन बिखेरते हैं तथा हर कोई उन्हें अपना ज्यादा नजदीक महसूस करता है ।     वे 28 जुलाई को लांस एंजल्स पधारे और फिर आसपास सेंटियागो, सेनफ्रांसिस्को , सेनेह  रुक कर लोगों से संवाद करते हुए उत्तर कैफ़ेल के पीएर्स कस्बा में एक सप्ताह भर चलने वाले गांधी कैम्प का संचालन किया । इस रिहायशी कैम्प में 50 युवाओं सहित लगभग 20 सहायकों ने भाग लिया । प्रतिदिन यहां की शुरुआत सर्व
