Indian Air Force inducting 8 Apache.

Congratulations to Indian Air Force for inducting 8 Apache AH-64E, one of the world's most advanced multi-role combat helicopters, into their fleet at Pathankot today. This will be a major boost to the Indian Air Force's combat capabilities.

अंफान तूफान ने ली पश्चिम बंगाल में 72 लोगों की मौत, ओडिशा में भी भारी नुकसान 16 मई को बंगाल की खाड़ी में बने अंफान चक्रवात ने पश्चिम बंगाल के उत्तर व दक्षिण तथा कोलकाता में भारी तबाही  मचाई है। अब तक जो मीडिया रिपोर्ट सामने आ रही हैं, उसके मुताबिक, सुंदरवन में एक भी बांध साबूत नहीं बचा है और न ही कच्चे मकान। सुपर साइक्लोन अंफान के चलते पश्चिम बंगाल में 72 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है।  20 मई की दोपहर 2.35 बजे सुपर साइक्लोन अंफान के सामने का हिस्सा पश्चिम बंगाल के तटीय क्षेत्र को छुआ था। पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कहा है कि सभी मौतें पेड़ गिरने और पानी में करेंट प्रवाहित होने से हुई हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने मृतकों के परिवार को 2.5-2.5 लाख रुपए के मुआवजे का ऐलान किया है। द्वीपों की नहीं हो रही पहचान इस चक्रवात के कारण दूर से देखने पर मुश्किल से किसी द्वीप की शिनाख्त हो पा रही है। द्वीपों में समुद्र का पानी भीतर तक चला गया है, जिस कारण अब वहां के खेतों में कई सीजन तक खेती-बारी नहीं हो पाएगी। मौसम विज्ञान विभाग से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, बु...
